RAF Cosford 2 Day Marches

The Devon and Somerset Wing RAFAC Road Marching Team successfully completed a difficult two day event at RAF Cosford this weekend, covering a distance of 50 miles over the two days.

A total of 19 cadets and 4 staff entered the Royal Air Force Walking And Road Marching Association’s annual event which is also the qualifier for Nijmegen 2017.
There was true determination shown by the team and to think we limped around faster than most! It was a great morale boost to be able to relax and watch teams still coming in an hour after us!

The aches and pains will soon be a distant memory. Just in time for our next training session along the Tarka trail out of Barnstaple.

All cadet participants are now in receipt of their shiny new medals and their road marching Bronze badges for their brassards.

A very well done to you all. You should all be very proud of your achievement.
